Magic Carpet Seeds - A Passion for Papertrey Challenge

The Passion for Papertrey challenge this week has 'nature' as the theme . When my seeds for the OWOH Magic Carpet event arrived they didn't come in very attractive packaging - they came in little plastic bags! My fault - I didn't read the small print. So I transfered them to glassine bags and made these envelopes. They've got the cultivation information printed on the front.

I've used PTI's Background Basics Diamonds and I've printed the plant names in Simple Alpha - its very fiddly but its one of my favourite alphabets. I bought some PTI cube ink pads on ebay recently and one was Smoky Shadow - I've used it for the butterfly and plant stamps in the background (Darkroom Door and Lavinia Stamps) and I love the real shadow effect it produced.

  1. Lovely and what an excellent gift!

  2. wow - these are fab.

  3. Wow what a fabulous idea - you really took our challenge of nature literally with these creations LOL!
Great use of the background set and I love the smokey shadow ink, it's one of my faves too!
Thanks so much for entering our challenge!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment - its hugely appreciated. Ann :o)
