Roses are....... memories

It seems we are to have a heat wave this week - and about time too!  Along with September, I always expect May to be one of our better months here in the UK, but three quarters of the way through it has been very disappointing.  Let's hope its bucking its ideas up before it disappears into June next week!

The sudden warmth has brought one of my two David Austin roses into bloom.  This one is named Crown Princess Margareta and its a lovely apricot colour.  It looks so pretty with the purple Aquilegia nearby.  I just had to record it with a scrapbook page and found a digi-kit at Oscraps by one of my favourite digi-designers, Anna Aspnes.  It was the perfect colour for my layout and a freebie too!  So I've spent rather too much time at the keyboard this morning instead of getting out there with my gardening gloves on!

  1. That rose is just gorgeous Ann! I've been spending so much time in the garden lately. I'm afraid the computer stuff has taken a back seat... It's a constant juggling act, isn't it?
