April Showers.........

Well I hope we do see some April showers as I don't think a drop of rain fell in March if my memory serves me right.  As this page from Children Month by Month hints, April should be a time for sowing seeds and I don't fancy lots of watering this early in the year!!

But, can anyone explain to me how all ...................
THIS happens without me doing anything at all!
And it will happen again next year, and the year after, and the year after that.  The miracle of non-intervention!

  2. I love this time of the year. Your flowers look lovely. It is amazing how everything just keeps on reproducing year after year. Thankyou so much for making some more crochet flowers. Hoping to get started on some more little dresses this month now that my wrist dosen't ache quite so much. Hugs Mrs A.

  4. Hi Ann! What lovely photos of your garden and surrounding area. For the first time ever, I watered my perennial plants here at 7000ft above sea level this past March! Unheard of. Today, the moisture has arrived in the form of snow! By tomorrow we should have over 10 inches on the ground. It won't last long and the plants popping up can take this. I'm looking forward to seeing the hummingbirds arrive later this month. Then we know spring has truly arrived. Take care! Carol

  5. Hey, Ann,...you don't know me...I just left a comment on Carol's Ink Spot and happened to see yours since it was right above the one I was leaving. You may have already had answers to the PTI die (flower) question about it not cutting cleanly, but, have you tried new cutting plates? I had the same problem with the border die of theirs that has really some really skinny loops on it--can't remamber the name--it's really detailed--I tried everything and finally bought new plates, and that did the trick. I remember reading a post of someone else who had used the same flower Carol did and it said you HAD to have fresh plates. Hope that helps--not trying to be "nosey"!
