I've spent most of today dealing with my harvest of blackcurrants - freezing, jam-making, and baking puddings. I completely forgot the 6th WMS sketch challenge was finishing tonight. I've been thinking about my card for the challenge for a few days but only got round to making it tonight. And here she is - Earthangel dancing to some old music I found in our charity shop this week.
Oh, and has anybody got some good recipes for a glut of blackcurrants?
Well isn't this just the bees knees!! LOVE it deeply :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see I'm not the only one posting tonight Ann!! Darling card! The sheet music is a perfect background for your angel to dance on. I love all the details.
ReplyDeleteOh, she is cute! Are you dancing as you make your currant jam?? :)))
ReplyDeleteGosh I wish I was you Ann - you're a domestic goddess!!!! Fabulous card too, enjoy the weekend :) xxx
ReplyDeleteOh Ann she is super cute - love the musical notes bg, we need one of those in stamp form! xx

I like your take, great job.
ReplyDeleteVery darling card, Ann. Your little angel is soooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh Ann your card is great...a great take on the sketch...and as for all those blackcurrants...freeze them and give yourself breathing space....do some very small portions to make blackcurrant drinks in the wintertime....oh I can smell the jam making from here! Isn't it so satisfying to see a row of jam pots lined up and ready for some fresh bread and Welsh butter of course!!!! LOl!!!
ReplyDeleteThose photos of the swifts are great - what sunsets. We stopped at a small town last night to buy an icecream and there was a family of swallows on the telephone wires. I've just seen a magnificent bullfinch down drinking at the water this minute in the garden, they are such a fantastic colour...if only one could replicate it!
This is so adorable. Love your sketch and how beautiful you made this sweet little Earth Angel just come alive on the page.
ReplyDeleteThis card is perfectly adorable! I love how you used the star rhinestones. So cute, cute, cute!
