Happy New Year!

Here's another old card I picked up along the way somewhere. Galleons are often seen on greeting cards of the 30s and 40s and I never could understand their significance but this New Year message says it all I think. So Happy New Year to us all and I hope 2016 will bring a peaceful end to at least some of the world's troubles - sadly I doubt it!

But to all us crafty types we can at least hope for a creative year ahead and perhaps a new string to our bows! Not sure what mine will be yet..... so much to choose from.

  1. Lovely card, I think is is an American card by the spelling of 'favoring' (English - favouring). Lovely saying though

  2. Hello Ann, It's been a very long time since I have left a message. Although, my blog is closed, I still see all the wonderful creations you make. Happy New Year to you and your family.

  3. Fabulous card, so colourful! Thank you for those super New Year wishes and may I wish you all you would wish for yourself.

  4. Happy (belated) New Year Ann! That vintage postcard is delightful and I love the sentiment too! I hope you have a thoroughly enjoyable 2016! x

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment - its hugely appreciated. Ann :o)
